Seven Doorways
A downloadable experiment for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Seven Doorways is an experiment based on my ongoing Sketch of the Day project. Inspired by the idea of daily exploration, Seven Doorways presents you with a different environment depending on which day of the week it is when you run it.
It's an exercise in slowing down and not worrying about goals or mechanics. There's nothing to do but hang out for a little while and enjoy your surroundings. Feel no pressure to stay, leave when you want and visit again another day for a new experience.
This is more of a small prototype than a game (it was developed over roughly one week, as an entry to the Slow Game Jam), but it serves as a test for a larger game I plan on developing one day using this art style and mood.
Controls:
Arrows or WASD - Move
Space - Use Staff

very nice looking game :)
Nice :)
Beautiful ! It reminds me of Journey
This was a really cool atmospheric game! I love the unique concept of changing each weekday. I made a video giving my full thoughts and some gameplay if you're interested to watch:
Hi! I wonder - which engine you're used in development? It's Unity or something else?

That's just great! How to contact you by email about it? I got an interesting offer for you :)
Feel free to reach out to contact@graemeborland.com
It seems, it doesn't running on windows. When I clicked on play button I got following error:
"d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module d3d11.dll at 0023:63c8da4c.".
Yeah, cool. Thanks for sharing!
no problem. I really like where the game is going.
I wanted to let you know that i did a video on my youtube channel about your game. If you want to check it out, i think it will help you.
