NXTWPN10
A new weapon and level every 10 seconds - beat the levels faster than the clock to increase your score!
Controls are WASD or arrows to move, and mouse to aim/shoot.
Pronounced "Next Weapon 10"! I made this game during August/September 2025 for the Winnipeg Game Collective's "Slow Jam 2025", and ended up putting in a bit more work after the deadline. This is a remake of a game I made way back in 2013 for Ludum Dare 27. The original isn't playable anymore (it was made for the now-deprecated Unity Web Player), so I thought it would be fun to remake the idea in Godot to continue practicing with that engine.

Very addictive, and very fun!
Every weapon was so well picked, even the ones I have trouble aiming/fireing are so fun to try to control! Such a wildly good time trying to survive! I'm so glad you remade this game, part of me wonders what the original was like!Yeah this is great! Love the concept & execution. Great tunes.
This is really cool! Juicy, surprising, and fun at all times. And great work on the balance too. The game could be really chaotic, but somehow ennemies are always manageable, and even the "worst" weapon provide interesting way to beat levels (and in the worst case, it's always possible to survive for the next 10 seconds, this is a clever design choice).
This is fun, but it take a while for me to understand some weapons like the noodle almost impossible to hit
Honestly I hardly understand what's going on. It takes me about 7 seconds to understand what my current weapon is and what do the enemies do. Also, some of the weapons and enemies are clearly more advanced than others, which makes it possible that an unlucky combination really freaks me up. My eyes hurt a little from all the effects.
I like the effects and the fast-paced gameplay though. The visual design is clear. I like how you used color to mark the meanings of objects. I also like super-saturated juicy arcade style. Really reminds me of Ultrakill and Super Hot.
These weapons are so creative!
For each one I'm thinking "blockage? wonder what that means--OH! Hahaa!"
Love it.
haha thanks muchly! It was fun trying to come up with some weirder ones :)
